Research on transparent neural network acceleration (for training and inference), supporting multiple machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow, CNTK, MxNet, etc.), running on different hardware (Intel CPUs, ARM CPUs, NVidia GPUs, ARM GPUs, NEC vector computers, etc.).

Run an Agile firmware development team working on key components for the next generation Mali GPU products, helping shape the technologies that the mobile and embedded markets will see in years to come.

Research in power-, energy-, and thermal-aware management for multi-/many-core systems. Published over 24 papers at international conferences/journals (12 papers as first author, including 2 Best Paper Awards and a Feature Paper of the Month), as well as 2 book chapters. Proposed as Principal Investigator for the 3rd funding phase of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center Invasive Computing (http://invasic.de) supported by DFG. Received the 2017 ACM SIGBED "Paul Caspi Memorial Dissertation Award".

Development of Linux-based embedded systems: in-vehicle RFID ticketing terminals installed in over 3000 public-transport buses in Buenos Aires' network of 15000 buses (serving over 400M passengers/year), POS RFID terminals, multi-function embedded computers, etc. Technical leader of a group of 5 junior developers.

Development of digital systems for support in electromagnetic radiation measurements, replacing lengthy manual labor prone to errors by introducing automated processes. Specifically: antenna calibration systems, non-ionizing radiation geo-referenced measurement systems, radar calibration and interferometry systems, etc.

Development of embedded systems for manufacturing companies with no R&D department. Particularly: access controls, physical therapy systems, brake testing systems, industrial laundry/drying machines, etc.

Development of an object video tracking system. Maintenance of infrared and night vision cameras.

Development of electronic security systems: home alarms, infrared motion detectors, sirens, etc. Acquired first-hand experience in the manufacturing side of electronic equipments by programming the in-house Pick & Place machine and by supporting the manufacturing manager in the improvement of the assembly line process.
