Conducted a study on best practices promoting SME competitiveness in the automotive industry in Latin America (Brazil and Mexico). Assessed ILO on supplier development models that could be replicated for the automotive industry in South Africa.

Lead the development and execution of a business plan to increase Colombian automotive industry’s competitiveness. Lead a PPP in designing and implementing projects, developing public policies and creating credit lines for more than USD 15 million. Lead the multidisciplinary public – private team that founded the Automotive Industry R&D Center – TECNNA and was a board member.

Reported the status, statistics and implications of Free Trade Agreements to the members of the association represented the association before the Colombian Government.
