I try to bring state-of-the-art AI solutions to applications used in engineering and manufacturing domains. Ensuring that these are not just concepts but are deployed and used by users in our plants across the world is an important part of my daily work. But the most interesting and satisfying part of the work is to interact with multiple stakeholders and understand the real challenges in the domain and then build solutions that assist everyone in doing their work faster and with less errors.

I was responsible for the AI strategy at TECHNIA and enabling customers in integrating state of the art AI methods within their PLM platforms. As a unique product offering, we enabled integration of a Natural Language Understanding component with Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Additionally, we worked on creating a data centric view for workflows and the product design know-how available in the PLM environment and enabling different enterprise systems to exchange and reuse this knowledge.

I was responsible for developing and deploying an intelligent virtual assistance framework for mechatronics systems at the Electric Drives division of Bosch in Germany. I additionally played the role of project leader for the international team. We redefined the process of mechatronic system calibration and software configuration for existing and new products using Machine Learning techniques. The business goals included efficiency improvement and risk reduction.

As part of Corporate Research division of Bosch, I was engaged in research topics related to Ambient Intelligence and Assistance Frameworks. My efforts were directed towards building real-life assistance systems for Bosch products using knowledge representation and machine learning.

I worked on development of safety critical control algorithms for the Automotive Electronics business unit at Bosch and obtained several patents based on my work.
