During this time, Scott Dylan developed an application that collected data from ships at sea via satellite and transmitted it from the data center to locations around the globe, after sorting the data into different formats and different platforms.

Scott Dylan restructured, designed and developed the main Web site, www.reallyuseful.com, as well as one of the company’s production sites for “The Phantom of the Opera.” This position allowed Scott Dylan to use his skills in ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Photoshop, Fireworks, Flash and SQL.

Scott Dylan helped the bank redevelop their ‘Techmart’ system, part of their internal asset management systems. As part of the redevelopment, Scott Dylan migrated existing databases from MySQL to Oracle and recoded the project with Coldfusion.
 Additionally, the work required Scott Dylan to make use of his skills in PHP and Java.

In this position, Scott Dylan designed, developed and tested an e-learning system for Virgin, used by employees of Carphone Warehouse to learn about the Virgin Mobile brand, rates and phones. The e-learning center that Scott Dylan created also included a test center.

Scott Dylan worked for Cable and Wireless, developing new features and testing for bugs in the system for the Criminal Justice Secure Mail Network Scott Dylan developed file management and content management systems to make it easier for administrators working with the system. Scott Dylan also restructured code and made configuration changes to the company’s servers.

Scott Dylan worked as a technical developer for Web-Imps. Scott Dylan’s duties included involvement in all aspects of Web application development, from design and scoping to deployment and support.
