Serving as the dual lead for Engineering Management and Product Strategy for our Managed Kubernetes products I am responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, overseeing a team of 9 engineers.

• Lead a team of 7 software engineers working on two products. • Defined and refined the company wide product roadmap. • Mentored our scrum master and product owner. • Successfully launched a new user interface for our main product. • Personnel responsibility for five engineers. • Worked together with global partners to align product goals.

• Recruited, trained, built, and led an initial team of five software engineers. • Launched our cloud based Network-as-a-service portal in April 2023. • Founded and led the development of a Product Development Organization, streamlining processes and collaboration across departments. • Defined the overall architecture of the company (programming languages, frameworks, deployment) to support business objectives. • Defining the strategic goals and roadmap for the customer portal.

• Continuing leading of Ceph’s deployment component and including a virtual team of upstream Engineers from Red Hat and SUSE: Defining the roadmap, coordinating the development, reviewing pull requests. • Contributing to open-source project governance. • Responsible for the deployment of Red Hat Ceph Storage (downstream): defining the deployment architecture of Red Hat Ceph Storage 5, organizing the team, time management, risk assessment, monitoring progress.

• Led Ceph’s effort to build a next generation deployment tool, which nowadays is the most popular way of installing Ceph. • Contributing to open-source project governance. • Lead for SUSE Enterprise Storage’s deployment team: defining the deployment architecture of SUSE Enterprise Storage 7, organizing the team, mentoring, monitoring progress. • Speaking at Conferences • Designed, developed and supported various Python code in the context of SUSE Enterprise Storage 5 and openATTIC.
