Berufserfahrung von Sharad Sanjeev

  • 4 Monate, März 2026 - Juni 2026

    Head of Mechanical Design

    HSM-Terra

Designed the mechanical system for Grasshopper, an autonomous agricultural robot, mentoring a Bachelor's student over three months, competing against 15 teams at the Field Robot Event 2026. Designed 100+ components in SolidWorks, applying DFM and dimensional tolerancing. Resolved conflicts between weight reduction and electronics protection through four prototype iterations, cutting weight 35%. Resolved coordination issues between mechanical and electrical teams. Placed 5th in Perception, 6th in Navigation.

Engineer - Electrical System Installation Design Responsible A350 XWB

    Airbus

Configuration Item Responsible for the Section 13/14 Lower Deck, designing electrical harness installations from concept through production sign-off. Held design responsibility across the A350F's first two test aircraft and entry-into-service aircraft (MSN0700, MSN0701, MSN0728). Managed engineering changes and configuration management end-to-end. Led humidification system integration across Air India, Qantas and Etihad fleets. Cost-saving proposal: 120-150 hours and €20,000-30,000 saved per implementation.

  • 1 Jahr und 8 Monate, Sep. 2021 - Apr. 2023

Graduate Engineer - Electrical System Installation Design Responsible A350 XWB

    Airbus

Joined the A350 XWB programme as CI Responsible for the Section 13/14 Lower Deck, applying a SolidWorks foundation while learning CATIA V5 and Enovia PLM. Built strong knowledge of aerospace wiring harness design and installation standards. Coordinated with manufacturing in design reviews to resolve queries and late customer inflows on aircraft including Lufthansa and Japan Airlines, launching Design Rework and Query workflows in SAP. Created onboarding material that helped new joiners ramp up faster.

  • 4 Monate, Juli 2020 - Okt. 2020

    Student Project Trainee Intern

    TVS Motor Company

Researched motorcycle accident data (NCRB database) to identify cornering visibility as a preventable safety risk, then developed a mathematical model of headlamp light spread across pitch, yaw, and roll during cornering. Calculated lean angle and steering behavior using vehicle dynamics equations, then modeled a cornering lamp concept in CAD against ECE R113 lighting standards. Validated the design through simulation, achieving a 99.01% increase in illuminated area during cornering vs. a standard headlamp.

  • 1 Jahr und 2 Monate, Juli 2019 - Aug. 2020

Aerodynamics and Cooling System Lead — Team Ojas

    Team Ojas

Proposed the aerodynamics and cooling system for the 2020 car, including sidepod, side diffuser, and battery cooling for the EMRAX 228 motor, leading a team of 3 including one junior engineer mentored on aerodynamic design. Iterated the package across 3 cycles, increasing downforce from ~408N to ~624N via wing, diffuser, and bluff-body refinement, validated using CFD (STAR-CCM+) and airfoil analysis (XFLR). Balanced downforce, drag, and pitch sensitivity against manufacturing and rulebook constraints.

  • 3 Monate, Jan. 2020 - März 2020

    Product Design Development Engineer

    Punar

Redesigned the chassis, cushioning, and leg support mechanism of the Intelligent Hip Support Device to reduce weight and improve structural integrity. Supported the device from design conceptualization through material selection and prototype testing.

  • 1 Jahr und 6 Monate, Feb. 2018 - Juli 2019

Technical Team Member — Team Ojas

    Team Ojas

Built foundational knowledge in Formula racecar design — vehicle dynamics, chassis design, battery pack fundamentals, and aerodynamics Contributed to the aerodynamics package and overall body shape design for the 2019 racecar.

  • 1 Monat, Mai 2019 - Mai 2019

    Summer Intern

    SEG Automotive

Gained hands-on exposure to industrial manufacturing and safety practices across materials including sheet metal, aluminum, and cast iron. Contributed production and design input for a prototype machine, and studied starter motor/alternator testing methods and pneumatic system
