In 1998, Co-Founded and headed product development, marketing and operations at OPTIM Systems, Inc., a network management software product company. OPTIM was successfully sold to a defense contractor in 2002. Boot strapped this venture with personal investment and built the products and acquired revenue-generating customers along the way. Secured over $20M in venture capital. Recruited CEO and grew sales. Repositioned and successfully sold company in 2000

At CONCERT, a global broadband voice and data services provider, oversaw all product development activities for CONCERT’s Frame Relay and ATM services globally across 40 countries. Secured multiple customers – McCain Foods, Unisys, AIG, Phillips, Johnson & Johnson and sales of over $20M and launched value-added voice and data products like packet voice and VoIP with new revenue streams.Managed global cross-functional product development teams and training programs in BT, MCI and CONCERT.

At GTE/GE Spacenet, a Global satellite network provider, he was instrumental in launching a multi-million dollar deal with the National Stock Exchange of India and closing a follow-up sale of over $15M. Subsequently, he was again successful in putting together a VSAT based shared-data service business with GE’s partner COMNET HCL in India. His deep involvement in high profile client engagements providing thought leadership in IP networking, solutions consulting, and application development, saved millions.

Mr. Krishnamurthy started his career in the Network Technology Division, at COMSAT LABS, a world-renowned research and development organization for communications technology and satellite communication networks. Here he worked in a variety of technology development positions and designed efficient IP technologies, IP routing algorithms, and network management solutions for voice and data applications over satellite networks.
