Architect, develop and deliver Mobile Applications solutions to support the commercial propositions and roadmap in the area of Security and device management products. Build and run a function, accountable for the effective delivery of large Product Development Programmes and Projects. Accountable for the Technology strategy in the area of Security (Vodafone Protect, Secure NET) and Device Management (Vodafone Start, Vodafone Device Configuration).

Leading a team, which is responsible for Development, Deployment and Operation for the Device Management services. (Implementation of the DevOps model) • Prime interface to OpCos, Partner Markets and Central Marketing • Accountability for the budget management of services in scope • Innovate services in scope, ensure cost efficient Deployment and Operation • Definition of the consumer device management strategy and execution • Leading team of 10 internals & 10 externals

Responsible for the Programme Management of the Device Management portfolio including Application Management, Device Configuration and Firmware Upgrade • Prime interface to markets and Group marketing. Roll out of the Device Configuration service in all Vodafone markets. • Responsible for overall interactions with Global Operations for acceptance and deployment of globally hosted solutions for the OpCo’s.

Project Manager for the implementation of the test and production system for the service platforms Consumer Push E-mail, MMS, SMS GW into the Vodafone Global Hosting Centre • Leading the integration of new service into the Common Hosting Centre Infrastructure (IP Network, DB Cluster, SAN) and into existing services • Definition of the Release Management in a hosting environment • Definition of SLAs • Technical Expert for mobile messaging services

Managing and leading national and international integration and acceptance projects for the services platforms WAP GW and MMS-C • Involvement in feasibility studies, vendor selection and contract negotiation. • Definition of the Vodafone Global Acceptance process • Technical expert in the area of mobile messaging • Vendor management • Release Management • Improvement of the vendor internal Quality assurance • Performing Quality Audits at vendor premises.
