Lead the European Design team located in DE, CZ and PT for customer specific projects. On roughly 250 new projects a month flexibility in planning and reprioritizing projects is a must. Analyze project portfolio regarding costs, timing and quality and identify improvement potential. Initiate and deploy improvement projects and reduce design time. Continuously check KPIs to keep them on track. Collect best practices and share & teach them to the team. Discuss & align improvement potential with Global ENG.

Identify continuous improvement needs. Increase project teams knowledge regarding requirement management, Six Sigma topics, processes and systems like PLM project database. Managing cost saving projects. Improvements on templates and system tools. Automotive representative of global PLM improvement team.

Responsible for process definition to implement the Corporate Lean Product Development Process to Automotive requirements. Development of project teams, processes and systems. Process analysis & improvements, Portfolio & Project analysis to support the EMEA Project Approval Committees (Phase-Gate Process). Moderation of workshops & trainings. KPI Analysis, Engineering Excellence Star Level actions

EMEA Team Leader (24 Persons) of BU CIS (Commercial and Industrial Solutions). Leading the Advanced Quality Engineering Team to continuously improve the new product development process (APQP; Six Sigma). Harmonizing processes of the two prior business units (merged to CIS) for EMEA. Teaching and supporting cross functional project teams. Leading the Engineering Services Team to support Engineering teams (Design Quality gates, Data Maintenance; Laboratory, Agency Approvals etc.)

Setup and the project management team (6 persons), align and continuous improvements on best practices and lessons learned related project work, teach team regarding processes and systems. Business Unit GIC was merged 3 months later with BU CCCE to the new BU CIS. New Position with EMEA Responsibility

First responsible to bring customer specific projects to series production. After Six Sigma training more involved in Six Sigma and Voice of the customer (VOC) actions. Responsible as project manager to cover the right customer needs acc. Six Sigma/VOC knowledge for a new global project for the general market. Continuously working to identify process gaps and to bring the Six Sigma Stage Gate development process and tools to new projects.

Design and develop products in the sensor business for agriculture sensors. Teach and support the design team on 3D CAD. By this finally all designs switched completely to 3D design.
