Calculation of Steel Structures - Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Shear Force and Bending Moment Diagram, Normal Stress, Buckling of Beams, Bolts Resistance, Tear Sheet, Wind Loads. Pressure Vessels Analysis – Use of PVElite Software. Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Division I. Design of Silos, Cyclones, Filters and Carretel. Adequacy of Vessels in the NR-13. Design of Nozzles and Flanges. Analysis of Flexibility in Pipes. Structural analysis of several equipment using ABAQUS, ANSYS, Ftool, Matchcad.

Structural simulation (linear static, modal, contact) of some components in order to compare Ansys and Pro/Mechanica softwares. Development of specific procedures and methodologies in the area of CAE/CAD. Study and creation of standards in engineering simulation. Hardware Benchmarking of several engineering software. Study for the creation of a database of materials for engineering (utilization of MVision software).
