Conferenced with customer representatives to review needs and project specifications. The information was used to create Production Drawings, 3d models and Bills of Material. Several sets of parts were ordered for a first run. One completed assembly would be sent to the customer; a second was used for internal testing. Periodicly reviewed products for materials and manufacturing cost improvements. Tested and measured finished products, components, and assemblies for function, operation and accuracy.

Directed a design engineering team of four employees. Approved all drawings and documents prior to being released for production.Traveled to customer facilities to review their operations and collect data that was used to manufacture their new part or design a new product in order to improve their efficiency or process. Provided technical services to clients relating to general concerns or guaranty issues. Managed all I.T. and Technology equipment.

Drafted detail and assembly drawings for products used on locomotives that include Air Conditioners, refrigerators, toilets, heaters and other misc assemblies using AutoCAD.
