Über mich
My commitment to environmental protection is evident through my work as a Student Assistants on 3 different topics in the past and my ongoing stint at Fraunhofer, where I am currently involved in a CO2 electrolyser project. My background as a Process and Safety Engineer at BASF India Ltd. in a production plant with a team of about 50 members further solidifies my dedication to safety, health, and environmental practices. I overlooked over 20 Management of Changes, 2 process modifications, carried out Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), participated in 2 plant Audits and promoted a safe working culture with regular campaigns. To broaden my skill set, I have actively pursued programming knowledge, particularly in MATLAB, and have been diligently improving my proficiency in the German language. These additional skills will undoubtedly complement my expertise in environmental engineering and allow me to contribute effectively to research and development efforts.

• Carried out Literature research on 2 topics- CO2-Electroreduction in MEA and High Temperature electrolysers • Implemented Scaling up (2 cm2 to >10 cm2) of the electrolysis cell • Observing the cell performance under various conditions and identifying the root cause • Interpreting and sharing the results with a team of 20 members • Handling of analytical instruments (e.g. GCMS, Digital Microscope) und their user interface • Working on 2 programs- LabView and Origin

• Responsible for EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) for a 100 kT/yr Polyol- und 90kT/yr Isocyanate-Production plants, Dahej with a team of 50 members • Collaborated with multiple departments and carried out >20 Management of Change (MOC), Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), P&ID revision • Implemented 2 process modification based on Zero-liquid Discharge (reducing water requirement by ~5%) and Exhaust air treatment • Ensured 0 injuries and <1 process safety incident during the tenure
