At the National Archives Foundation, I oversee the operations of the Gift Shop inside the National Archives Museum, as well as its eCommerce platform. It is a $3 Million + sales budget site with over 20 seasonal staff to manage.

I am working for Friends of the National Zoo, the Smithsonian's National Zoo's non-profit support organization. My position is called Merchandise Support Specialist. It has various facets, like: Office Management Data Entry in inventory system Data Analysis and reporting Preparation, execution, recording and reporting of physical inventory counts Payroll processing and approval for hourly staff Invoicing Product and material sourcing

Trash clean ups, invasive species removal, informal educational engagement of visitors concerning park wildlife and history. Translation of Old Stone House historical site brochure into German.

Duties included, but were not limited to: - Registering and maintaining IT inventory (hardware and software licences) - Supporting customers with hard- and software problems (Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Office 2003, Citrix / PC's, Laptops, Thinclients, Servers) - Establishing and maintaining a centralized support-documentation (Wiki) - Organizing and providing training for trainees in the IT department
