Modelling and Mixed Integer Linear Programming optimization of the co-generation power plant using Aspen Utilities Planner and integrating the model with energy market as well as to the current energy demand

Interfacing COSMO-RS with Aspen Plus which involved designing a software in Python program that browses an excel file having activity coefficient data and outputs Binary Interaction Parameters of a chemical system. This is of great use when there are chemicals systems for which there is no properties data in the Aspen Plus databanks. This is a well-designed interactive tool which has reduced the human effort for a single analysis from an hour to seconds.

Working on design of a process for Hydro-esterification of Oleochemic Substrates using homogeneous catalysis in thermomorphic multicomponent system using gPROMS and Matlab. In past, I have worked on continuous process for the Hydroformylation of Long Chain Alkenes in a Micellar Solvent System using Matlab.

Extraction of feed data from telecom source system and loading into the Apache Hadoop Hass area . Reconciliation of extracted feeds to find leakages and frauds in the system. Creation of OLAP Cubes for the customers to have an easy access to the data in visual 3D form using MySQL server database. I was also responsible for end-to-end development and support of a frauds management module which I had developed in Oracle 11g and later migrated to Cloudera 3.7.

I was responsible for rewriting database code for performance enhancement. Implementation of packages, storage parameters, triggers and views were also part of my work. I did database optimization for better performance of queries and strategic data purging by following SOX guidelines. I was also responsible for Release and Configuration Management using MVN and Jenkins.
