Responsible for insurance operations of the company, including, planning and managing and focusing on sales maximization and customer service, Provide leadership and oversee, Risk Management, Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Actuarial and Product Development, Marketing/ Sales administration, Logistics, Training matters, at group level on HR and IT matters at Group level.

Was responsible for all aspects of NITF’s insurance operations.

SICL is a leading micro-insurance provider in Sri Lanka and member of ICMIF (International Corporative & Mutual Insurance Federation). Preparation and review of Underwriting, Claims and other operation manuals Monitor and review co insurance/ reinsurance arrangements and Insurance plans to corporate customers. Represented the Market technical committees: GIF (General Insurance Forum) of Insurance Association of Sri Lanka and Claims Committee of NITF (National Insurance Trust Fund).

Reporting to General Manager/ Managing Director Managed the insurance portfolios of JKH (John Keells Holdings), complied with the Service Level Agreement with the JKH group.

In charge of Fire and Miscellaneous insurance departments and reporting to General Manager. Managed all functions including underwriting, claims, re-insurance. Reviewed insurance policy wordings for special customer requirements,Training and development on product knowledge and procedures.

Reporting to Managing Director. Managed Sedgwick/Marsh multi -class global/regional insurance programs for multinational clients in Sri Lanka. Assisted with re-insurance placements of local companies through Sedgwick/ Marsh, London.
