As a continuous efforts towards my previously completed job rotation as a Program lead on 'Smart & Lean Underwriting', I played a vital role in bridging IT solutions (internally developed proto-types) to Business needs in the area of Data Visualization and System simplification by leveraging text mining and smart analytics techniques. Independently ran Smart Analytics Program, while supporting various projects in different life cycles.

As a Team Leader, acted as a Coach and Mentor. Steered RM Portfolio (averaging USD 25 mio/year) to ensure project are aligned to RM strategy, deliver in compliance with regulations and under the budget. Program has successfully delivered 3 key areas of change: Minimal Risk Infrastructure; Capability, Validation & Transparency; Risk Culture. This has resulted in simplified RM processes, establishment of Risk Service Catalogue directly linked to its costs and system landscape simplification/automation.

As a central point of risk contact to the Reinsurance P&C EMEA business, operated within the three lines of defense governance model to ensure their Risk and Control framework is adequately covering all potential operational risks within the area. Established mechanism for early identification (Key Risk Indicators) of emerging risks. Conducted various Risk Reviews which have resulted in strengthening controls around various process areas (Financials, Underwriting, etc)

Post GE Ins. Solutions acquisition, led various Global projects (mainly large size over 1 mio) which have globalized TA & Claims processes and have further increased transaction automation rate (improving TAT to a Client) by introducing 'flow' business rules in the area of Technical Accounting and Claims requiring no human intervention. Defined new Target Operating Model by introducing a global footprint, which has contributed to Operational cost savings.

As a result of GE Re acquisition, played a leading role within Technical Accounting community within two-year GOAL Programme (with budget > USD 100 mio) which has migrated all the legacy systems. Acted as a Coach/Change Manager in conducting Power User trainings on newly developed system and process changes to all SwissRe locations: USA, Canada, Mexico, India, Germany & Switzerland. Performed Audits on a regular basis to Global TA teams (over 150 users).

Highly contributed to additional incoming cash flow (> USD 800 ) as an outcome of accurate completion of Profit Commission calculations on treaties. Played vital role in overseeing and managing our outsourced tasks performed by team in India. Reduced open balances by 20%, by introducing an integrated automatic check within our workflow tool. Acted as a thought leader by highly contributing to simplification opportunities.

Obtained Property & Casualty license. Assisted agents and insured with underwriting and billing inquiries while making changes to policies where needed. Supported underwriters with renewals, cancellations and non-renewals with care. Contributed internally by making recommendations related to systems, procedures and workflows to gain efficiency and meet changing customer needs.
