Development of the Denim collection for men&women in close collaboration with Design and Merchandising. Taking a pro active role in continuously improving the product in terms of quality and fit; advising design in terms of technical possibilities and limitations. Sample follow up from proto till production status, including pro-active planning along the critical path. Frequent travels to the factories in Europe, as well as daily communication with the vendors, enable a close follow up of production ETDs.

Taking a proactive role in creating a dual brand structure within the denim competence center. Guiding the development team thru the whole process till SMS delivery, for both brands. Collection development in close collaboration with the design teams and merchandising. Frequent travel to factories in Asia and Europe to guarantee spot on ETDs and high quality standards.

Design&development of the Southpole & Sir Benni Miles Junior collection, in close collaboration with Sales. Creating of the design concept, working out briefings for the graphic designers, coordinating the schedules of the freelance designers and preparing of collection presentations for sales are forming a big part of the daily business. Sample follow up from proto till production status; frequent travels to source (Asia&Europe) Member of the project team to improve design&production processes.

Working out my dissertation in collaboration with a consultant company and the quality manager; Including preparation of manuals for the quality department to improve processes with in the company as well as the development of processes to lift the quality of the product to the next level. Dissertation: Development of the new quality policy of the company going hand in hand with the companys' vision.

Collection development (pattern cutting, fittings, sewing) as well as general assistance (fabric orders, schedules, model castings etc.); crowned with a successful fashion show on Londons' off schedule fashion week.

Traineeship in all neccessary divisions of the production as part of my studies.
