I have been working in DP DHL head office as a Regional Sourcing manager who is responsible from transport sourcing activities among Europe, Middle East and Africa. The main responsibilities under this role are developing and managing the sourcing strategies for different transportation networks of DHL customers (from different sectors) which might consist of different modes (sea,road and air) and types (groupage, FTL, LTL, parcels, milk run) of transportation .

I add a sub-regional (Eastern Europe (CZ, HUN, SK, PL), Russia and Turkey) strategic sourcing development responsibilities to my current responsibilities as a country procurement manager. With additional responsibilities, I drive sustainable value contribution to DP DHL divisions in the subjected sub-region countries by developing multi-country / x- business unit strategic sourcing approaches together with the country and reg. sourcing teams.

I have been managing procurement activities of DHL Supply Chain Turkey and directly Reporting to Global Procurement Services in UK. main responsibilities under this role are; responsible from the execution of DP DHL procurement policy in Turkey, purchasing all services and products including ground fleet, production equipment, facility management, HR services, and etc, Periodic evaluation of suppliers, Preparing of supplier contracts in line with DHL’s corporate policy and interest, and etc.
