As manager in EMEA Powertrain Cost Engineering I am responsible of: - Assessing production cost of new components, through evaluation of technical information provided by R&D - Managing modification requests, with analysis and negotiation of suppliers’ quotations - Realizing cost reduction activities through reverse engineering and workshops - Supporting technical benchmarking of engines and transmissions

As part of Global Strategic Sourcing organization in EMEA: - I am responsible for managing suppliers of plastic components - I define acquisition contract and price strategies - I find new suppliers and optimize supply base - I investigate and define best sourcing options for new projects

Support to target costing activities for EMEA region: - Define cost of production for industrial processes (labor and machine) - Define cost of raw materials and track commodity trend - Build cost model for new components - Support cost reduction and negotiation activities - Analyze supplier financial structure

Program management activities for Powertrain Division: - Definition of R&D budget for development projects - Creation of long-term spending scenarios for strategic plan - Control of R&D expenses and variance analysis - Resource scheduling for design and test activities in multi-project environment - Analysis of occurrences for anomalies and resolution tracking - Definition and control of tooling plan for each new component - Creation of financial offers for projects of external customers
