Telma Santos

I am currently finalising my research topic in Neurobiology after an important focus in basic neuroscience with cell culture, tissue culture, molecular biology and microscopy. During this time I developed project management and coordination skills, team work and public presentation of my work. I am from a multicultural background that enables me to be comfortable in various situations and to solve problems as they come.

During my Masters practical I was offered an assistant job to work in the role of the activity of the TTR protein in neuronal morphology and Alzheimer's disease.

At the end of my Bachelor I was granted a research fellowship to work for a year in the genetic characterization with ISSRs of Secale cereale for its resistance to aluminium. My work consistend in the PCR and analyzes of ISSR profiles in different sub populations.
