Creating organizational structure, working process of approvement cycles and pipeline management.

Promoted horizontally to be in charge of 60 Supercenter Hypermarket format stores, with annual sales up to 1.9 B USD, leading and developing 12.500 employees, with 6 direct reports (Director Level) in Mexican customer markets in Mexico-City, Estado de México, Chiapas, Cuernavaca, Morelos, Puebla, Querétaro and Quintana Roo.

Accountable to lead 126 Bodega Aurrera banner stores, with 9.000 m² sales floor. Serving up to 380.000 clients daily, offering 26.000 SKU of consumables, fresh, general merchandise, groceries and perishables. Leading, motivating and developing 9 direct reports (Director Level) and more than 15.000 employees, attending Mexican customer markets in Mexico-City, Campeche, Chiapas, Guerrero, Morelos, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Veracruz and Yucatan.

Key position between Walmart´s international headquarter and LATAM markets, reporting to VP Business Development and CEO/President LATAM Region. Collaborating with national real estate teams; evaluating, follow-up and supervision of over 520 real estate projects (purchase, rent and lease), 1.52 M m² total area, with an investment of 2.0 B USD, monitoring business development activities in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, as well as, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.

Build-up, elaborated and implemented expansion structure and market entrance strategy into retail market for sports goods in Germany. Optimizing internal expansion requirements, aligned to jurisdiction for large-area retail concepts. Conducting a complete competitor analysis and running of market evaluation research, to establish achievable business objectives.

Management of follow-up achievement of the business plan objectives for real estate development projects; renegotiation and renewal of lease contracts for stores, reviewing investment proposals and supporting approval processes with senior management.

• Negotiated conditions and fares for over 120 carrier service providers (road and maritime traffic), acquisition of national and international carriers, ensuring daily on time supply and delivery from 6 Distribution Centers for 450 stores. • Elaborated a supply chain structure concept, for overseas supply; from Seville harbour to Canary Islands, 1.500 km, delivering to 20 stores, distributed on 3 islands (Grand Canary, Tenerife, La Palma) within independent customs areas.

• Assignment of leading several expansion regions; conducted market analysis, research for potential real estate projects, contract negotiations and signing, permit procedure, construction phase until store handover to operations.
