Responsible for a major transformation from a local to global organisation creating consistency of organisation and processes. Initially responsible for Europe, extended to Global in August 2004. The move to global outsourced contracts for IT services required an internal organisation change to deliver new key functions globally in the same way. • Development and implementation of processes across the Global Service Management organisation • Design and development of the Service Level Agreements

Project Director responsible for the rollout of SAP Financials worldwide, a USD300M project to upgrade ZFS’s financial systems and harmonise the financial processes and reporting across a diverse range of businesses (25 implementations covering 45 countries and 14,000 end users): • Program management of all aspects: business and technical scoping work, recruiting and allocating resources, planning, monitoring and reporting progress, and driving delivery to tight timescales

Responsible for the IT areas of all Asian business operations and business development in Hong Kong (operating as the No2 to the CEO Hong Kong): • Formulating and agreeing the IT plans, developments and budgets with the Executive Management of the Asia business division • Responsible for evaluation of IT areas of possible acquisitions and start-up companies • Creation of a business plan and putting in place the necessary resources to grow the Hong Kong business • Creation of new business division

Initially working as a Project manager responsible for a series of developments in the Insurance and Banking area. Progressing to Systems Development Director, and in this role responsible for all systems developments at Allied Dunbar (AD). This wide-ranging role covered: • Formulating and agreeing the IT plans, developments and budgets with the Board of Allied Dunbar • Leading cross functional teams on a variety of change programs in the AD Group • Management of 250 systems staff
