Managed the programming and administration of capital and service projects in the Chicago Park District’s $30 million-a-year year Capital Improvements Program (CIP). Served as the liaison and coordinator between the Park District and the general public, the City of Chicago and other sister-agencies. Used ORACLE software to manage capital projects’ finances and budget. Reported on the financial status and prepared audit documentation for various local and State grant funded capital projects.

Project Manager for a $1.4 million federally funded demand response transportation service, averaging 15,000 one-way trips annually. Monitored and analyzing ridership data to create efficiencies and eliminating duplication within existing local transportation services. Managed funding for multi-million dollar capital transportation projects. reviewed engineering design and construction plans, ensuring proposed projects complied with the County’s Bicycle & Pedestrian policies.

Managed the multi-million Five-Year Transportation Improvement Program for SCM’s numerous Federal and/or State funded capital transportation projects. Worked directly with 21 SCM Elected Mayors, municipal staff, general public, and consulting engineers to successfully implement SCM transportation projects and regional planning directives. Addressed issues to ensure given timeframe and ensured the projects met their targeted letting/construction date.
