Responsible for the design and development of the navigation software for low cost positioning and tracking of containers. This work was part of the FP7 TrackBoCs Project. Software Features: • Multithreaded application developed in Java • TCP Server based on Apache Mina • SMS Gateway developed in Java • Data transfer from remote mobile stations through SMS messages and GPRS connection • Over The Air Programming of mobile stations • MySQL database for data storage

Supervising Engineer for the expansion of the optical fiber metropolitan network for the municipality of Chania, in cooperation with Ericsson and Telecommunications Systems Institute (Crete).
