- Capital expenditure controlling in EMEA. Yearly capital expenditure exceeds $130 m. in about 20 locations in EMEA - Supervise the preparation of annual capital budgets & periodic reports - Review forecasts/budgets in collaboration with Management, Operations & local teams provide guidance & recommend necessary amendments to ensure cash flow targets are achieved - Collect information on capacity constraints/future CapEx intensive projects

- Control $230 m. yearly expenses in 20 locations in EMEA - Develop forecasting tools that give insight to our functional leaders into their budgets => more financially aware & fiscally responsible community - Improve the discipline around the forecast process & contribute to reducing the discretionary spend by approx. 25% - Lead the budget process & closely work with Management/local teams. Coordinate the design/implementation of a system based budgeting tool

- Margin improvement of top loss-making projects & contribute to achieving savings - Special projects: savings estimation from switching to different resin raw materials in the production, central warehouse concept, high inventory turns vs. scale price effect, value stream optimization, etc. - Logistics controlling: analyses & optimization of the shipping lanes in EMEA & reducing freight expenses - Leading the forecasting & budgeting process in relation to freight & warehouse expenses in Automotive EMEA

- Participated in the audit of the efficiency of individual process controls related to trade. - Involved in the audit of credits, especially providing analyses with respect to customer creditworthiness. - Financial statement analyses related to the plausibility of changes. - Detailed audit of particular balance sheet items, especially interest income and interest expense, assets and liabilities.

- Research on regional insurance markets and the major insurance companies’ performance within these markets. - Participation in the audit of leasing related accounting differences between IFRS and US GAAP. - Providing assistance in quarterly review procedures of interim consolidated financial statements.
