Process area responsible of the Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) of a 60,000 m3 / day SWRO Desalination Plant and a Waste Water Treatment Plant in Al Khafji, KSA.

Process area responsible of all the Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) and Commissioning of a 200,000 m3 / day SWRO Desalination Plant in Tenes, Algeria. It involved management duties and responsibility for delivering process engineering documentation, specifying and purchasing equipment, supervising the installation, programing DCS and commissioning of the Plant (also package plants such as CO2 production plant and Electrochlorination plant).

We helped our clients to improve their production processes by providing new models and studies, which propose new designs, automatizations, technologies or just information for process management implementation. The projects that I participated in were for the diapers manufacturer Arbora-Ausonia (P&G), the petrochemical company Repsol, the PVC manufacturer Solvay and for the Ehman’s biomass production plant.

As a member of the engineering team for the operation and maintenance (O&M) department of the Barcelona’s hydraulic distribution network I had the responsibility to operate the process and coordinate field operation teams. Process data were analysed and used for optimization. Improvements were afterwards implemented to field and monitored.

I participated in the production process analysis and in-site implementation for process improvement in the outsourcing services given to the food industries Haribo and Panrico. Moreover I had other tasks such as bid assessment, selection of the contractor and participation in the technical and scope definitions of the Engineering-Procurement-Construction and Operation & Maintenance contracts for the desalination plant project in the installations of Port Aventura.
