Evaluated site-specific applications of nitrification inhibitors in crop production to reduce emissions and align project goals with sustainability strategies (Project NitriKlim).

Department of Crop Sciences, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, University of Göttingen Led a sub-project on greenhouse gas emissions from cover crops. Coordinated team activities and partner collaborations to ensure successful implementation of field trials. Independently managed sampling, laboratory analyses, data processing, and reporting. Authored scientific publications and presented findings at national and international conferences. Supervised students in research projects and thesis writing.

Conducted research on auxin transport in Arabidopsis thaliana, resulting in publications and international conference presentations. Supervised students in laboratory work and thesis projects, contributed to teaching, and supported laboratory management.

Led guided tours for visitors, explaining plant adaptations and ecological interactions. Translated educational materials from Hebrew into Arabic to promote inclusion.

Thesis: “Effects of Cover Crop Functional Traits and Termination Timing on Nitrous Oxide Emissions and Soil Nitrogen Dynamics in a Humid Temperate Crop Rotation”

Thesis: “A transportome scale amiRNA screen to identify novel auxin transporters in Arabidopsis thaliana”. Conducted in the Department of Molecular Biology and Ecology of Plants under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eilon Shani.
