Conducted natural language processing and text mining analysis using the software KNIME. Carried out advanced statistical and econometric analysis using the software Stata. Executed basic GIS tasks using Stata. Established programs in Stata for the implementation of the empirical analysis and the production of tables and graphs. Managed a team of five research assistants. Gathered and prepared data from various sources for the creation of a database. Contributed in the writing of working papers.

Tasks: - Data preprocessing of the U.S. National Longitudinal Survey of the Youth (NLSY) and the Eurosystem Household Survey (HFCS). - Programming in Stata for measuring worker job-to-job transitions. - Conducting multivariate regressions and econometric/statistical analysis on multiply-imputed survey data. Project: "Health Equity and Financial Protection in Asia (HEFPA) - Philippine Team," Funded by the European Commission. Tasks: Provided research support for the impact evaluation study on the effect of a premium subsidy on voluntary insurance enrollment. Developed a survey questionnaire for a nationally-representative survey. Carried out survey data checking, cleaning, and preparation. Conducted econometric analysis on various individual and municipality datasets using the software Stata.

Dissertation: Political economy of education reforms. Using text mining methods and regression analyses, I combined informaion from legislative bill texts with socio-economic variables to answer the question of what factors affect the enactment of different education reforms.
