• Responsible for one of the Cargo Watches, monitoring the loading / unloading of the cargo, as well as inspecting the ship's deck in advance to ensure that all safety processes and operations are according to best practices. • Provide technical advice and support, operate and monitor machinery ensuring safety of crew and property. • Ensuring clear communication and understanding of all processes and procedure, providing information and assistance as necessary to ensure safety of crew.

• Overseeing repairs, and maintenance to the vessel, assisting the team and new crew members as required, specifically in areas of firefighting, safety and rescue. • Other general tasks as perform navigation rooms, oversee loading / unloading procedures, deck maintenance tasks, checking safety and life-saving items.

• Handle the yard operations being responsible for preparing the ship's cargo plan based on standard and international guidelines. • Initial visits to the ships, so that the cargo plan was approved by the responsible Officer. • Monitor and ensure the performance of all teams involved. • Review the operations to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of procedures and services. • Provide information and assistance as necessary in order to ensure safety of crew and property. see less
