As a Regional Controller for MEA Beauty Care (retail & professional), I act as intermediary between our global headquarters in Germany and our 9 local subsidiaries across the Middle East & Africa to ensure that our financial objectives are fulfilled.

As a Regional Supply Chain Controller, I oversee supply chain controlling topics in production facilities (in-house and toll manufacturers) for Henkel Beauty Care in the Middle East & Africa. These include sites in GCC, South Africa, Tunisia, Kenya, Turkey and Israel.

• Performed a cost center analysis and cleanup by working with a team across the region in order to ascertain that the costs accurately reflected the bottom line of the business. • Reclassified travel and living expenses by assigning costs to specific field services jobs. • Maintained a weekly past dues and accounts receivables dashboard for the entire region. • Maintained a dashboard of field service engineers and all costs related to them.

• Drafted letters to the clients and subcontractors in order to handle claims from and towards the company. • Analyzed claims against invoices to verify that claims by subcontractors are valid • Managed a project dashboard by keeping it up-to-date with the progress of all aspects of the project. • Wrote a periodic “Project’s Director’s Report,” amalgamating and summarizing the commercial, technical and contractual aspects of the project.
