Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Specialist Advisor) advising a Member of the German Parliament. Focus portfolio areas are Bundeshaushalt (Federal Budget), Rechnungsprüfung (Federal Budget Audit activities), and Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (Research, Technology and Space).

I managed a team of professionals who together served as a Centre of Excellence for contract management, administration and evaluation. Our work had a particular focus on teacher supply investments, and advice and support services for schools.

In this role I negotiated the renewal of multiple Education workforce collective employment agreements with teacher and principal unions through the course 2022-2023 collective bargaining round. I also led on the development and drafting of strategic industrial relations and collective bargaining-related advice for New Zealand Government Ministers and Cabinet of New Zealand.

Portfolio Private Secretary to Hon Chris Hipkins, then New Zealand’s Minister of Education, seconded from the Ministry of Education New Zealand.

This position involved research, transcription work and the planning and design of an undergraduate languages and cultures course.

This position involved legal research, editing work and course planning.

In this role I advocated for policy changes around student loans, accomodation benefits and the rising cost of living in New Zealand's main urban centres.

I interned for a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives leading up to and through the 2014 election.
