I am glad, proud and happy to start a new challenge in Europe, joining Volvo AB group's Construction Equipement division. I am now globally in charge of purchasing for the Powertrain Commodity for this division and joining a great team. My experience is extensive in purchasing, supplier management, supplier quality, Low Cost Sourcing, Project management, operation starting-up in China, Indirect purchasing, procurement, executive management and actively participating in setting-up a JV in China.

Great China & SEA scope: inc. procurement, 22 persons, 3 locations, M&A’s. > 100 Mio$ turn over, 90 new major projects/year, > 75 Mio projects ahead Exports responsibility for China, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, & others M&A team member in China driving sourcing, procurement and Supplier development. Great China scope: 10 persons, 2 locations, export and localization projects > 50 Mio$ turn over, 40 new major projects/year, export majorly in US Exports from China and Taiwan Bring sourcing potentials to Europe and Brazil Put under control a new acquired Asian supplier base Full achievement of all KPI’s (800 PPM, DP >90%, savings> 25%) Take over then turn around the Shanghai Global sourcing team Changed processes & approaches to bring together Shanghai & Dalian team

Location & Start-up scope: inc. SQD, export & localization, projects Started-up the location from scratch with one other colleague from UK Successfully managed the first Knorr-Bremse OE China customer project. Successfully bought all equipments in time & at budget Localization rate covering major spends (confidential) Driving export successfully for the compressor parts out of the new suppliers All business cases at target after SOP

Europe scope: projects & commodities, 4 locations and teams in Europe > 7 persons, 80 Mio$, European supplier base mainly, all commodities. Start from scratch a new purchasing department European executive members and location executive member for compressors Elected project leader for the first Truck group Asian Initiative in sourcing parts Relocation leader for production in France instead of Italy

Location scope: foreign suppliers, project & commodity buyer, no team > 15 Mio$ supplier base, all commodities, VA-VE. Manage stampings, castings, turn-parts, screws, assemblies Start the first VA-VE projects Is the only responsible buyer in the project team for SOP’s for new products
