Research areas: 1) Radio resource scheduling for LTE-A networks, for scalable IoT/M2M communication. 2) Involved in developing of LTE-A eNB and relay node protocol stack in OPNET. 3) LTE UE power consumption modeling and analysis. 4) System-level simulations, mathematical modeling.

Worked as a helper in two projects related to source & channel coding for power reduction in Wireless Sensors Networks and designing of software defined HF radios. MATLAB, GNU Radios, OSSIE and C simulation tools & programming languages were used.

Responsibilities included research related to Signals Processing and Image Processing. The project aimed to develop a detection algorithm for small errors in Silicon Wafers along with GUI. Major tasks include programming, simulations, data analysis, etc.

Research work for developing algorithms in Image Processing projects like Automated Fingerprint Identification Systems (AFIS). nVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT with 112 CUDA cores, using single- and dual-finger flats fingerprint sensor, resolution 500 ppi, USB 2.0 interface Simulations, data analysis, image processing.

LTE Radio Access Network (RAN) enhancements for M2M/IoT. Resource management, relaying/small cell technology, M2M/IoT traffic modeling, 3GPP architecture knowledge, battery life modeling, simulations, Signal processing, Data analytics. Moreover, experience of 5G, NB-IoT and LTE-M specifications.
