Heading the S&M department, I joined the Planning Committee of The Merchant House on an exciting journey to open this Luxury Boutique Hotel in downtown Manama, Bahrain.

In charge of key accounts within Corporate and Leisure segment. I’ve strengthened the hotel’s relationship with it’s existing partners, as well as acquired new highly productive accounts to our portfolio. During a period which witnessed a large hotel room inventory increase in Abu Dhabi that resulted in a fierce competition amongst hotels and lower ADR levels, we’ve expanded our market share and continued leading our compset in ADR and REVPAR.

In charge of launching this 5 Star hotel in the local and international markets in its pre-opening phase and achieving key financial targets and operational goals through effective sales strategies and efficient leadership.

In charge of business development of the Corporate and MICE segments of this luxury 5 Star resort. The Shangri-La Qaryat Al Bari complex consist of 3 hotels, The Shangri-La with 214 Rooms, Traders with 301 Rooms and The Residences with 268 Units. In addition, the complex also contains a Health Club, Spa, and a traditional Arabian market. There are over 18 F&B outlets within the complex as well as an outstanding conferences and meeting space.

In charge of increasing profitability and driving business, sales, and market share to Kempinski Hotel Palm Jumeirah; Through acquiring new corporate accounts and developing existing ones. Responsible for the Travel Trade as well as Corporate segments, within the GCC region.
