I took some time off to prepare for my family's move to Frankfurt am Main in Germany, while also conducting freelance consulting within the South African banking industry. This included the interpretation of updated Basel guidance regarding wholesale clients (Public Sector and Non-Banking Financial Institutions). Based on this interpretation, additional analytics and engagements, I provided recommendations to the Client Group as to how regulatory credit risk modelling should proceed for these clients.
