During my time with the company, I opened markets for our products. I ensured medications gained and retained accreditation to formularies so that they could be prescribed to patients in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. My strengths included determining the prevalence of disease and macroeconomic parameters as well as negotiating with the government, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

In this senior role, I created marketing strategies for Merck - General Medicine in Saudi Arabia. This encompassed managing a £40M turnover and a £2M marketing budget. I oversaw strategic roadmaps, requirements definition, and business development plans. I also directed marketing team operations, rolled out sales training, and collaborated across disciplines with Sales, Medical, and SFE. Here are a few of my successes during this phase of my career.

In this role, I drove the success of every phase of the product lifecycle, including needs assessment, product development, and growth and profitability targets. It was my job to direct strategic planning and market development in both public and private sectors across Saudi Arabia.

As a medical representative, I promoted hypertension and osteoporosis products as a Hospital Representative for a major account in Riyadh City.
