•Work shoulder-to-shoulder with scientists, customers, pneumatic and electrical engineers and vendors on the integrated product team developing production machines to efficiently apply precision coatings on optical lenses. •Interact with customer to develop concepts. Suggest viable alternatives to maximize functionality, producibility and machine/operator productivity. Ensure user safety to comply with OSHA occupational safety standards.

•Designed, prototyped and blueprinted custom titanium valves, machining fixtures and project tooling from R&D through production for NASCAR, MotoGP and Formula One factory racing teams such as Ferrari, Honda, Ducati, etc. •Designed components fabricated on mills, lathes and grinders, some with mirror finishes, interference fits and tight tolerances of ± 2 microns to produce unprecedented horsepower from lightweight automotive/motorcycle engines. •Performed capability and feasibility studies.
