Dr. Alberto Ciaramella

I founded IntelliSemantic , specialized in semantics, which progressively extended its activities in open data, artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions. Besides its activities for custom projects, IntelliSemantic developed MyIntelliPatent, a SaaS knowledge management system specific for patent monitoring, patent searching and patent analysis. I participated to EU cofounded project TOPAS and I now participate to the project ONTOCHAIN, to develop blockchain-based knowledge management solutions.

I managed competitive intelligence in the framework of business development of the company, to look for opportunities and challenges for M&S and for R&D. Patent intelligence was also a part of my duties. Loquendo was a spin -off of the Telecom Italia group in charge of speech and natural language solutions, including speech synthesis and recognition.

I did research and then I was a research supervisor at CSELT, the research company of the Telecom Italia Group. The most significant R&D activities in which I was involved were in speech recognition and speaker verification. In my activities at CSELT I was inventor or coinventor of 4 patents, author or coauthor of about 40 research papers and I participated to the management board of 3 EU cofunded research projects.
