As Regional Director EMEA IT and later Global Director IT Business Operations, I provided IT vision, strategy and leadership for two strategic business units with multiple business lines within the Automation and Control Solutions division.

Norsk Hydro is a global vertically integrated supplier of aluminum with activities throughout the value chain, from bauxite extraction to production of aluminum products and building systems. As CIO, I was accountable for strategy and use of Information Systems & Technology for a division consisting of 5 business units and an R&D organization with 43 plants across 22 countries in Europe, Asia, North and South Americas.

PepsiCo International is a Fortune 100 world leader in convenience snacks, foods & beverages, with revenues of $60+B and over 285,000 employees worldwide, As CIO, I led development and delivery of innovative IT strategies and solutions to facilitate fast-moving high growth businesses for PepsiCo in Central and Eastern Europe, leading IT teams across 12 countries for 3 business lines.

Championed and delivered world-class systems, services and technology that enabled the new Group’s business strategy. Established a new corporate-wide IT function which provided cost-effective information services and systems to the business.

Program Manager in the PMI Global Initiatives. Planned and managed the development, rollout, and support of global programs to facilitate the introduction of the new PMI business organization worldwide.

Directed and managed the development, deployment and support of all corporate, regional and cross-affiliate IS programs for Finance, Marketing & Sales, Business Planning, Corporate Affairs and Legal functions in Eastern Europe affiliates and HQ. Initiated and managed regional and cross-affiliate IS projects to leverage resources, optimize costs, and deliver efficient IS services to the business.

Directed and managed the planning, implementation and support of information systems and technical infrastructure and services in Central Asia. Led the development and implementation of cost-effective IT solutions and information systems to support the fast growing business in the region.
