Research topics: 1. Functional characterization of a novel cancer protein KIAA1199 and its role as a diagnostic biomarker for colorectal tumors. 2. Effect of cigarette smoke condensate in lung cancer initiation and progression, carcinogenesis, establishment of serum-free culture conditions for bronchial epithelial cells. Research techniques: Molecular & cell biology, recombinant protein expression in cell lines, microscopy, transcriptomics, proteomics (immunoprecipitation and mass spectrometry)
