During my doctoral fellowship at CONICET, I conducted research focused on the mechanisms related to resistance of Leishmania to Glucantime, one of the primary treatments for leishmaniasis. My main responsibilities included: - Design and execution of experiments to evaluate resistance mechanisms in Leishmania, combining genetic analysis and in vitro assays. - Laboratory techniques: Cultivation of Leishmania cultures, in vitro sensitivity testing, DNA and RNA extraction, and molecular analysis using RT-PCR.

Completed a thesis on drug resistance mechanisms in Leishmania species, focusing on molecular and genetic analyses. Developed strong expertise in laboratory techniques, including DNA and RNA extraction, RT-PCR, and in vitro drug assays.
