Intern in the Support to Agricultural Diversification and Food Security Programme (SADFSP). Developed policy proposals in the area of food security monitoring for Zambia's Sixth National Development Plan (SNDP).

Research Assistant to JICA's in-house Advisor to the Zambian Ministry of Agriculture and Co- operatives, department of Policy and Planning. Researched into crop diversification alternatives to Zambia's agricultural production. Participated in field journeys to various farms and irrigation compounds in various rural areas of Zambia.

Teaching Assistant to Prof. Dr. Philipp Genschel, professor of International Institutions (Fall, 2008). Tasks included preparing course materials, grading essays and exams. Researched into terrorism and anti-terrorist policies within the EU and the UN.

Intern in the Department of Community Development. Assisted in preparing a nation-wide project on capacity building. Organized and participated in various workshops and field journeys. Designed various surveys and processed statistical data.
