Àngel Méndez Rull

I worked as a member of the Roca Design Center in Gavà, as a designer of three luxury bathroom appliances collections (vitreous china) in collaboration with the Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza and the Spanish architect Carlos Ferrater.

I researched and implemented the transition into a CAD workflow, while adapting the design department and external outsourcing manufacturers, to the CAD technology. My duties also included the design of 9 models for the casual collection of shoes, and the 3D modelling of 8 soles for the football collection.

I participated in the design of the new family of forklift-trucks for Still, from the general style for the product family to the design of the final exterior surfaces of 7 forklift-trucks and one pallet mover. I also worked in the design and development of 3 other consumer products for Bosch, 1 industrial equipment project for Rado, and 2 more projects for Kärcher.

My role at CDN as a junior designer involved working inside a team as an Alias modeler for several projects, which included automotive interiors, lab equipment, bike helmets and bathroom furniture.
