Anika Roberts

My expertise lies in working with teams and leadership to create employee engagement and organisation development strategies that resonate with both staff and leadership, building on the experience I have gained in the private and public sector over the past decade. Most recently, I head up the South East UK operations for Invigor8 and I am the German market lead for engagement across Europe. I also lead on training and development for diversity, emotional intelligence and resilience.

As part of the HR management team, I work closely with the organisation's board and Chief Executive to support the Council in its current journey of large-scale organisational transformation and change. I programme manage engagement initiatives for both staff and leadership, and am responsible for our regular all-staff 4000+ Atrium events and Leadership events for Camden's 100+ most senior staff. I am also the lead for communications and engagement for the largest OD programme ever attempted by the Council.

As part of the Taskforce, originally set up by Nita Clarke and David MacLeod, I coordinated a group of engagement experts from around the UK to contribute to and help build the web platform Engage for Success. Our particular focus was the 'Engaging Managers' enabler.

Global Comms and People Programmes Coordinator, creating and maintaining the global leadership comms plan and strategy, as well as responsible for rolling-out and managing our global engagement programmes. Implementation of a long-term Leadership Development Programme, including organisation and coordination of training for 340 staff. Management of joint communications with the client as part of an overall change programme, resulting in an increase of over 100% for the year on year Global Engagement scores.

Part of a team of editors for one of Germany's largest publishing houses. Worked as part of bilingual team (English and German), translating and proofreading documents. Co-editor of a dictionary of irregular English verbs, Englische Verben, published in 2005.

Diary management, organisation and scheduling - liaison with leadership colleagues, clients and students - supported recruitment campaign and on-boarding for full-time post holder
