• Managed a EU FET project from the FP7 program: handled the scheduling and budget that led to EU Commission’s approval of the results. • Organized the system validation, user manual and usability studies, while collaborating with risk management, for a class IIB medical device, the Aeon Phocus, which led to its CE certification. • Successfully performed verification and validation for the compatibility of a class III ablation catheter with the Aeon Phocus

• Modeled and conducted research on electromagnetic systems focused on biomedical applications to compare a large space of design parameters that affect system performance and feasibility. • Compiled an assembly manual for an electromagnetic steering system, the Nanomag, which is used to navigate micro- and nanoscale magnetic bodies with the aid of an inverted microscope.

• Developed and tested a prototype for a system called the Ophthomag intended to treat retinal diseases via drug delivery or mechanical operations. • Designed and constructed an experimental setup for mounting a microscope imaging device with multiple degrees-of-freedom that was used to visualize microrobotic manipulation.

• Designed and organized manufacturing of parts for guidance navigation assemblies. • Created programs with LabVIEW to control the instruments in an optics lab.

• Formed robotics curriculum for grade schools (ages: 6-13) that helped the students gain insight into science and technology at a young age. • Oversaw other STOMP fellows to ensure the structure of our program fostered effective learning.

• Performed functional analysis studies on wire bonders with a scanning electron microscope and drew conclusions from my results to improve the wire bonding process, especially by eliminating sources of capillary tip contamination.
