Project: Investigation of solar inertial waves -- Detected and observationally characterized inertial oscillations in the near-surface layers of the Sun. -- Designed, developed and implemented the Solar Inertial Mode PipeLine Environment (SIMPLE). -- Applied a broad range of data analysis techniques within the entire research project.

Project: Observations of large-scale solar flows -- Processed, analyzed, visualized and interpreted a large data set of solar observations from SDO/HMI (a NASA mission). -- Obtained in-depth knowledge about data analysis and applied relevant related methods and packages. -- Developed clean and readable Python scripts, including editable parameter files and version control (SVN). -- Contributed to team projects with frequent meetings, discussions, and reports on work progress.

Project: Pre-processing of stellar spectra to determine the chemical composition of variable stars -- Increased my experience with data analysis methods and different astronomical software packages. -- Evaluated and communicated the project results frequently with and to other researchers.

Project: Flux calibration of stellar spectra for the investigation of the airglow emission. -- Processed and calibrated a large data set of stellar observations from UVES (an ESO telescope). -- Built a long-lasting collaboration with fellow researchers.
