Responsible for managing all aspects of the design and procurement of port infrastructure and port equipment such as dredging and quay works, revetments, container terminal infrastructure, ship to shore cranes and rubber tyred gantry cranes as used on the Container Terminal, specifications and procurement of the cargo handling equipment used on the other terminal areas of the New Port Project.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of technical/practical works • Development of manufacturing concepts and strategies • Uphold company policies in regards to OH&S requirements, and maintain a safe working environment • Development and implementation of new manufacturing procecces / machines to increase the efficency

• Managing and monitoring all processes in fabrication, assembly, tests • Ensuring that volume, cost and quality standards are achieved • Leading, directing and scheduling production, coordination and administration staff • Person in charge for certification of classification societies, as Det Norske Veritas, Bureau Veritas etc. • Continuously optimizing manufacturing processes, in particular by implementing modern work processes and assembly technics

• Managing and monitoring all processes of maintenance / service for the AGV department • Securing the availability for the AGV fleet • Preparing concepts and quotations for maintenance activities, in particular pre-emptive maintenance • Continuous improvement for the whole maintenance process • Further technical development of the AGV fleet
