Topic : Effect of particle size distribution on processing and properties of ceramic composites. Conducted research on oxide ceramic matrix composites. The main aim of this project was to produce high strength Ox-CMC's (Nextel 610/Alumina) at lower sintering temperatures in order to prevent fiber degradation. Performed following tasks:

As a student Research Assistant, I was involved in different projects. My main responsibilities included: - Preparation of ceramic slurries and pastes. - Extrusion of ceramic capillaries with various templates. - Fabrication of ceramic foams via direct foaming. - Mold Casting of glass-ceramic samples. - Characterization of ceramic powders and sintered monoliths (geometry,size/zeta potential vs pH)

I worked as a Quaity Control Enginner. Production of high quality ceramic porcelain insulators was ensured. Tests were performed at diffhent stages of production. From powder processing of ceramics to finished product, labs tests were routinely conducted. Some of them include particle size analysis, flow behavior of slurry, coating (glaze) quality, strength test and creep performance.

My core responsiblities included: - Preparation of different ceramic bodies and glazes. - Designing of ceramic molds using softwares.
