Successful managing a three years project consisting of more than 50 service migrations from old core transport platform (ATM based) towards new, state-of-the-art IP/MPLS based backbone. Enhanced productivity by definition of overall processes and responsibilities - author of a global migration handbook as overall project guideline and standard. Led the international migration team. Scheduled the project in agreement with the customer incl. milestone definition, reporting and change request handling.

Analyzed the existing core network architecture and provided a dedicated resource plan and overall schedule for the network extension 2010.

Project: T-Mobile - “IP Mobile Backbone Migration” Analysed the planned IP backbone topology incl. CISCO equipment and wrote an IP Backbone availability study to theoretically determine the network stability (proof of concept).

Team member of the "Network Engineering" group @SIEMENS/NSN - RF department; Development of methods, guidelines and tools for international NSN planning and optimization experts, incl. - Generation of planning and dimensioning guidelines for Flash-OFDM/WiMAX on network engineering level - editing, revising and updating of radio planning tool user manuals as well as testing of parameter settings for OFDM technologies Team working on internal tool “ACORN” incl. technology specific requirement specification

Optimization of the Vodafone GSM/UMTS network in northern Germany. Recommendation of new parameter settings to enhance the network by performing cluster measurements and cell checks with different test configurations/system (drive tests/walk tests/In-house and subway measurements), data analysis and compilation of optimization reports. Increasing costumer satisfaction by fault analysis and support in case of technical problems.
