At Gecma Components from MTL Crouse-Hinds in Germany. I generate the weekly Operations Scorecard, and participate in the Bi-Weekly Cost Productivity Call. In Gecma my projects include: Layout change in production hall (a project that has consisted of 4 Kaizen already), reduction of Non-Value Add activities in the Test Field, Implementation of SAP Quality Module (first to implement within MTL) and a major Front-End Process Redesign that includes the cooperation between Sales, Engineering and Operations.

For a year worked in Cooper Crouse-Hinds Terrassa, Spain where I implemented Lean Six Sigma Methodologies. Successfully organized and led around 10 Kaizens within one year, implemented a TPM Program, Engineered a SMED solution for a drilling station, applied 5’S in the Panelboards section, complete change of layout in panelboards section, omplemented point of use storage and Kanban. The project for the panelboard section won the award as the “Best Improvement Project in Terrassa for 2012”.

Collaborated on a major PMO project for the international business integration of Iberdrola who had just acquired two utilities of similar size in Scotland and New York. The project consisted of studying the possible synergies in ten different areas between the three companies in an aim to reduce costs.

Worked on my thesis in the LNG Technology Center at Repsol. Obtained Distinction as best Thesis of my generation. The main focus of the research was based on the cryogenic capture of carbon dioxide.
